About
Do you sometimes feel dumb? Do you stare at spreadsheets, powerpoints, code, TV, trashy magazines, trashy blogs, unruly kids…ALL DAY and feel your brain slowly melting into a puddle of goo?
I often feel dumb. It was not too long ago that I was leading large global teams in enterprise solution implementations (yeah, that’s business mumbo jumbo). Even before that as a student at Stanford, I was writing essays and defending my arguments with words that I can’t even think of right now.
My brain has gone to mush and I blame my busy life. I’m too busy to read up on things that I once had the leisure of doing – like world history, human anatomy, marine biology, geography…the list goes on. My life is now in 30-second clips from the news or hearsay.
And that’s why I’m writing this blog. I want to have a way of learning something new everyday and sharing them with someone else to help keep me accountable. In exchange, I ask that you leave comments and provide your own knowledge on the subject. Or feel free to share anything cool. My hope for this blog is that I get to learn something cool each day, share it with you all, and in the process hopefully un-goo-ify my brain.
What a great idea for a blog. Thanks, Bea!
